The Gecko class is our program for kids and pre-schoolers aged 4-7 years. It is a fun, encuoraging introduction to the martial arts with an emphasis on basic body movement, personal responsibility, and laying the foundations for good sefl-discipline and listening skills that your child can use at home and in the classroom.

At Five Dragons we understand that children learn best while they are having fun, so we use safe, structured gameplay to build strength, balance, coordination, ettiquette and sportsmanship. The class is non-competitive, and we have a large viewing area where you can watch any and all of your child's classes.

Our gecko program is also used as a way to prepare younger children for the demands of the older kids program. We have students here that started in the gecko program and have gone on to win regional, state, national and even world martial arts titles. The depth of our program and the potential for your child to take their training as far as their dedication and talent will get them is really what separates Five Dragons Martial Arts from the competition.
